Woman

A woman is undermined through the beauty of her fragility, but almost never are seen as the strong beings they are. In the movie 'For Colored Girls', a lot more than bitterness was felt. This movie gave more than just the color they wear on their skin. One woman dances to the rhythm of the words of the other while another woman cries to the laughs of the other. A woman carries the weight of life on her shoulders and does not rest until she arrives at the next load she has to carry. A woman lives the meaning of love and anger and sadness through her eyes and smiles so flawlessly. As a woman, I have deepened the significance of the value that is worth more than what is seen. Society is moving towards a time when women are equal to men, but what will never be the same is the emotional ability they hold. Women are beings that hold power that no man can defeat with their physical strength. A woman is being stronger than he who undermines her.

What about us ?

Once again, the news is exploding with the issue of education. More schools in NYC are closing either because of the deficit in the education system or because they can't maintain their grades up. What is education coming to? There are hardly any schools in third world countries but somehow kids over there are educated a tad bit more than we are in certain aspects. So why is that the government finds it so easy to support out military to raise the number of casualties in other countries but not educating the younger generations to create a better future? There needs to be a total 360 turn on this issue because students not only in elementary, secondary, and high schools pay enough through the taxes of their parents but college students are paying more than average to find out that the government cares more about killing than education.

Other flaws?

A few days ago, an article on famous New York lawyer Caitlin J. Halligan, was rejected on judicial position in the government due to her activist views on gun control. As a republican, she was denied votes from the Republican Party. Now doesn't that seem a little weird?? Why would she be denied for a second time for the same reason ?? According to the Republican Party, they do do believe that gun control is necessary regardless of all murders and crimes committed by those with possession of an arm. But because they don't want to "spread her activist ideas" throughout the government, they'd rather deny her her right to attain such job. Don't they have other views that others in the government oppose? So why are they doing that to her, disregarding her well known qualities to be in that position. She's quite fit for the job, but because she's a woman activist against one of the things they believe in, they won't let her be. How disappointing..

The Newsroom

Today, I felt like I was given the chance to talk about what I know. And I wasn't ready. After watching The Newsroom drama, I feel like my eyes have been opened to a whole new perspective. Being in a newsroom gives you that adrenaline that you would wanna have experiencing those moments at first sight. And I think I know what I wanna do. I'm almost 99% sure that I need to help the world fix itself. I should be part of that percent in which those help generate ideas that stimulate a crowd rather than follow a group of stupid. That group that helps the future generations see what's important, the people that will talk truth to stupid. Because not even the government knows how to get society to see. The government is only a bunch of men that like comfort and don't like to be put to the test. If they are receiving accusations from other countries that can generally lead to global warfare, then they need to check themselves and the way they're running this country. We are in state of deficiency in so many aspects and the world needs to be aware of it, whether they like the cold hard truth or not. McKensie said we aren't the best country in the world, but we are the only country that persistently says we can do better. And I'm completely sure that we can. We just need to do a better job at getting better. That's when we can move on to a better life and start seeing what the land of opportunities is all about.

The first blog always starts with the intro. The way you describe yourself, blah, blah, blah. WELL, I'm not gonna start like that, but I will tell what I hope to achieve with this blog. There are so many things in the world that need change, but there's never a big enough group to make the change. So people conform to the norms of society. There's always something stopping revolution. Nothing stopped it back in the day. So why can't we do it now? I'm for those who strive for difference and fairness. Of course there's nothing in the world that is fair, but who said we can't make it fair?Slow changes are the biggest and the most important, which is why we need to make the change bigger. So what I do hope to accomplish is to help the world see that we need to make a difference for the smaller changes that need support. We need to make the world a better place by taking action on the change. Then the world will become the change.
